We’ve set a course for the future by bringing EVERSPACE 2 to Unreal Engine 5 in our Incursions Update, now released on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. In addition to new game content, bug fixes, and features, Incursions also adds togglable support for Lumen. The comparison video in the article, captured with a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090, shows EVERSPACE 2 locations with Lumen enabled and disabled to show what dynamic global illumination can do in our space game. It doesn't seem real that they killed E3. I always looked forward to walking the floor and being around the rest of the industry for those few days. It was a feeling of being connected to something bigger. The displays, the demos...the parties. You were almost always certain to run into old friends and coworkers - even if you didn't see them for the rest of the year. All good things have to come to an end I guess. Admittedly, the cost was crazy. It makes business sense. I'll still miss it though.
